Aquatic Therapy in Albuquerque at the Duane and Barbara Trythall Aquatic Therapy Natatorium
Presbyterian’s aquatic therapy programs provide a warm-water environment to assist in pain reduction while regaining range of motion, flexibility and strength. In conjunction with your land based physical therapy program, our warm water setting provides gentle support during exercise, helping to increase blood flow in a low-impact environment. Our team will coordinate a rehabilitation program based on specific needs. They can suggest pool classes and exercises after the formal rehabilitation program to maintain benefits of an aquatic therapy program.
This location provides the following types of aquatic therapy treatments:
Warm-water pool therapy for chronic neck and back pain
Therapies for muscle weakness and general deconditioning
Therapy for sports injuries, orthopedic injuries or surgeries, as well as pain management, obesity, fibromyalgia and neurological problems
