Children's Care
Our Children’s Care team has more than 300 pediatric care providers who do everything from treating the common cold to performing pediatric heart surgery. From well-child checks to specialty care for your child, our Children’s Care team is here whenever you need us. We can provide both inpatient and outpatient services, as well as urgent care visits, depending on your healthcare needs.

Presbyterian Children’s Care has a team of board certified pediatricians, pediatric specialists, and a skilled pediatric nursing and support staff that work together to continuously improve patient outcomes and maintain an environment of family-centered care. We have providers available to provide well-child checks and routine care, as well as more specialized diagnostic testing and procedures. Our staff is specially trained to work with children (or pediatric) patients, from prematurely born babies to teenagers.
Why should my child see a pediatrician instead of a family medicine physician?
Both pediatricians and family medicine doctors are primary care doctors. However, pediatricians are doctors who specialize in children’s health, including all aspects of their physical, mental and social well-being. Pediatricians choose to focus on children’s health issues specifically, and will complete a residency in pediatrics to better focus on the health problems your little ones may have.
