Nuestra Comunidad

Legacy of Caring

Volunteerism, philanthropy, gratitude and community engagement are traditions at Presbyterian and hallmarks of our history of service to New Mexico. From community volunteers who serve on our boards and welcome our patients, to our care teams and administrative staff – the people of Presbyterian strive to embody the spirit of Presbyterian expressed by one of our founders, Marion K. Van ("Mrs. Van") Devanter: "If we can help, we should."

Leadership for Local and National Organizations

Through these memberships, Presbyterian employees use their passion and understanding for service excellence to help improve organizations that ultimately benefit New Mexico communities. Organizations can explore having Presbyterian representation on their boards by reaching out to communityengagement@phs.org.

Community Engagement

Presbyterian Community Engagement awards one-time sponsorships and community grants of varying amounts, with a focus on supporting health equity, health care access and a culture of belonging in New Mexico. Read eligibility requirements and submit a community engagement application.
