Pharmacy Residencies

Presbyterian Healthcare Services offers Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy and Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) specialty pharmacy residency programs in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy and Infectious Diseases Pharmacy.

Eligibility and Application Requirements

  • United States citizenship or resident status

  • Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC)-Certified pharmacy graduate

  • Eligible for New Mexico pharmacist licensure

  • Complete application submitted through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) including:

    • letter of intent

    • curriculum vitae

    • academic transcripts

    • three recommendation letters

  • Interview with presentation

  • PGY2 applicants must have a completed or be in the process of completing an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited or candidate-status PGY1 residency
