Presbyterian’s pulmonary rehabilitation program provides individualized rehab and maintenance plans for patients with chronic pulmonary (or lung) diseases. Our team can create a tailored program to help control your symptoms, increase your lung and breathing function, increase independence, decrease anxiety and depression, and enhance your overall quality of life. Patient education can round out the program by helping you understand your illness and methods used to treat it, such as energy conservation, proper nutrition, and breathing techniques.
Pulmonary rehabilitation is a physician-referred program for patients who have been diagnosed with chronic pulmonary diseases such as chronic bronchitis, asthma, COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease), pulmonary fibrosis, emphysema and other lung conditions.
Some services may use independent community healthcare providers.
