Pharmacy Residencies
Presbyterian Healthcare Services offers Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy and Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) specialty pharmacy residency programs in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy and Infectious Diseases Pharmacy.
Post-Graduate Year One (PGY1) Pharmacy The ASHP-accredited PGY1 offered at Presbyterian Hospital in downtown Albuquerque is a flexible program designed to provide residents with unique experiences in both clinical and administrative practice.
Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy The ASHP-accredited PGY2 in Ambulatory Care provides residents experience working with licensed pharmacist clinicians (PhCs) within the patient-centered medical home in disease state and medication therapy management and overseeing anticoagulation services.
Post-Graduate Year Two (PGY2) in Infectious Diseases Pharmacy The ASHP-accredited PGY2 in Infectious Diseases is designed to develop a practitioner proficient in infectious diseases and antimicrobial stewardship.

Eligibility and Application Requirements
United States citizenship or resident status
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) or Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Examination Committee (FPGEC)-Certified pharmacy graduate
Eligible for New Mexico pharmacist licensure
Complete application submitted through Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) including:
letter of intent
curriculum vitae
academic transcripts
three recommendation letters
Interview with presentation
PGY2 applicants must have a completed or be in the process of completing an American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) accredited or candidate-status PGY1 residency
