Continuing Education:

Albuquerque Ambulance Service (AAS) offers various continuing and community education courses that are open to the public.

Course Offerings

  • CPR/BLS – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation/Basic Life Support

  • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (initial and renewal)

  • PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support (initial and renewal)

  • TFR – Trauma First Response

  • Semiannual Continuing Education (Mini conferences) offered live and interactively via Zoom

Course Pricing

  • ACLS/PALS Renewal – $100.00

  • CPR renewal courses – $50.00

  • All other classes – $10.00/hour

  • Mini conference - FREE

All classes are FREE for Presbyterian employees, military personnel, and law enforcement.

Community Events:

AAS hosts two live mini conferences annually. EMS providers attend these events from all over New Mexico. If you are interested in attending our mini conferences or have questions, please contact Captain Eli Oquendo at eoquendo@phs.org.

Our Community Health team offers a variety of free online and in-person classes on a wide range of topics including cooking, gardening and fitness.

Telehealth appointments are now available using video or online messaging services, giving you the flexibility to get care when you need it, safely and conveniently, without always needing to schedule an in-person visit.
