Mobile Phones for Nurses

Part of Presbyterians commitment to deliver Nationally Excellent patient care, we have invested in mobile phone technology for our nurses. Mobile phones are assigned to all nurses who work in our Albuquerque facilities in order to improve patient care delivery. Nurses use them to allow patients and physicians to contact them directly in order to expedite communication.

Patients have reported that their units are now quieter and more restful since the phones were installed and nurses find it extremely convenient to have immediate access to a phone whenever needed.

Both nurse and patient satisfaction scores have improved as a result of this investment in technology.
